The Associação Comercial de Santos (ACS) has spaces for lectures, courses, training and meetings, which are rented out to both members and other interested parties

Available Spaces

Auditorium: Capacity for 150 people, with 11 seats on the stage. A small foyer is available for coffee breaks, as well as a backstage area for event organization meetings.

Meeting Room – 1st Floor: Capacity for 12 people around the table and another 12 in the back seats.

Meeting Room (Backstage) – 1st Floor: Capacity for 12 people.

Meeting Hall 1 – 2nd Floor: Capacity for up to 36 people.

Meeting Hall 2 – 2nd Floor: Capacity for up to 36 people.

Lounge – 2nd Floor: For VIP meetings and small groups (upon request).

 

Rules for Use

  • Member companies are entitled to a 30% (thirty percent) discount on the prices listed in the table below.
  • Member companies are also entitled to two free annual rentals of any of the spaces described above, provided these rentals occur during business hours.
  • Rental periods will be 4 or 8 hours, within business hours, which are Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 12 PM and from 2 PM to 6 PM. The evening period is defined as from 6 PM to 10 PM.
  • Spaces will not be rented:

- For commercial purposes (profit-driven events).

- For extended periods (e.g., consecutive weeks).

- During lunch hours, between 12 PM and 2 PM.

  • Additional hours exceeding the contracted rental time will be charged according to the period used (refer to the table).
  • If a buffet service is used for welcome coffee, coffee breaks, etc., both the preparation of items and the removal of used materials must be handled exclusively by the buffet team as promptly as possible. In case of delays, additional hours will be charged as rental time.
  • Rental fees include water, coffee, and audiovisual equipment available in each space. Tenants are not allowed to bring their own equipment without prior consultation. If authorized, complaints regarding possible power fluctuations supplied by the provider that may damage devices will not be accepted.

Rental Procedure

  • Companies interested in renting must send an email to comunicacao@acs.org.br to check the availability of the desired space and provide preliminary details for evaluation and understanding of the request.
  • If the requested space is available, the interested company will receive a form to be filled out and returned to the same email address, including the rental date, duration of use (start and end time), purpose of the rental, estimated number of participants, contact person, whether a buffet service will be used, etc.
  • Once the rental is confirmed, the ACS Communication Department will send the interested party the Draft Agreement for Space Assignment for Events and the Responsibility Term for signature between the parties, which must be completed no later than the rental date.

 

Rental Cancellation

A rental cancellation can be made free of charge up to 3 (three) days before the scheduled date by sending an email to comunicacao@acs.org.br. Failure to meet this deadline will result in a 10% (ten percent) fee charged to the tenant.

 

Rental Payment

The ACS Financial Department, upon rental confirmation, will issue and send the corresponding bank slip to the interested company, which must be paid by the due date indicated. At ACS’s sole discretion, failure to comply with the previous item may prevent the company from using the space.

 

ACS Waste Reduction Policies

As a signatory of the UN Global Compact and in alignment with SDGs 13 and 15, the Commercial Association of Santos has policies aimed at reducing waste generation, as well as the proper separation and disposal of waste.

  • If a buffet service is used during the use of our facilities, plastic materials should not be used in coffee breaks or similar events. Only paper cups and other utensils, Styrofoam, wooden stirrers, and/or biodegradable and/or reusable materials should be used.
  • All participants must properly dispose of waste according to the bin labels: recyclable and non-recyclable waste.
  • Food or beverages are not allowed in the auditorium. If in doubt, seek guidance from an ACS professional.
